SWIVEL JOINT STYLES
OPW Engineered Systems swivel joints are available in one, two or three planes of rotation for virtually unlimited flexibility. Standard combinations of five different metals and seal materials cover pressures, temperatures, corrosion resistance, and load bearing capacities well within the limits of most application requirements.

The following SUFFIX LETTERS are used to designate the various end connections and other features available on OPW swivel joints:
- NO SUFFIX LETTER(S) = Female threads both ends
- F = 150# flange both ends
- FFT = 150# flange inlet x TTMA tank truck flange outlet
- FJ = For submerged use, 150# flange both ends
- FO = 150# flange x female threads
- FSB = 150# flange both ends, with spring balance attachment lugs
- FT = TTMA tank truck flange both ends
- FTO = TIMA tank truck flange inlet x female threaded outlet
- T = Has drilled boss for guidance attachment
- TFT = Female threaded inlet x TIMA tank truck flange outlet
- VO = Female threads x Victaulic® groove
- VOG = Female threads x Victaulic® groove, hardcoat anodized aluminum
- W = Beveled for welding both ends

OPW Engineered Systems manufactures a complete line of dry-disconnect couplings to meet your fluid handling needs. The Kamvalok® dry-disconnect is designed to be quick and easy to use. Kamvalok's® quick connect and disconnect feature utilizes a coupler with a built-in-poppet along with a sliding inner sleeve to assure fast closing and a tight seal. The Kamvalok® adaptor utilizes a spring-loaded poppet that must be mechanically opened by the coupler to allow product flow. Should the coupler separate during product flow, both the coupler and the adaptor slam shut automatically. Spills are minimized to only a few drops. |

- Provide an extra margin of safety-vibration resistance. Twin Kam® GFL™ Arms are guaranteed for life against breakage.
- Automatic Shutoff with Accidental Disconnect
- Protects workers and the environment as well as saves product. In case of accidental disconnect, both the coupler and adaptor automatically stop the product flow.
- Spring Loaded Seal Cylinder in Coupler
- In the event of an accidental disconnect, keeps the product in the line.
- Choice of Body, Gasket and Trim Materials
- Provides versatility and the capability to handle most fluids.
- Turbulence Deflector in the Adaptor
- Reduces turbulence and pressure drop through the coupler that might otherwise impede line flow.
- Guide Fins in the Coupler
- Evens the flow and creates less restriction.
